What are the differences in your mounting options?
Whipper Snapper Designs offers three different mount options to their retail customers.

1.  Wood Mounted Stamps -  These images are mounted on solid maple wood.  The images has been molded out of red rubber and adhered to a permanent foam cushion.  Designs have been cut approximately 1/8" around the outline of the image with a jigsaw and applied to the wood block.  A colored or black & white label is used depending on the artist.

2.  Cling Mount Stamps -  These images have also been molded out of red rubber but are adhered to a cling mount foam for use with acrylic blocks.  Designs have been cut approximately 1/8" around the outline of the image with a jigsaw.  No image reference sheets are included.   

3.  Unmounted Stamps - These images have been molded out of red rubber. They are rough cut and require the customer to trim and adhere the image to products of their choosing.  No image reference sheets are included. Please note that stamping detail will be effected if you are just stamping with an unmounted image.  It is highly suggested that you mount these images with a cushion to eliminate stamping difficulties.

Where do I add promotional codes?
WSD usually run two different types of promotions - those for discounts or those for FREE product.

Why are your website links opening to blank pages?
75% of our customers use Internet Explorer. You need to update your browser to the most current version (V7) in order for the site to work properly.  Earlier versions of Internet Explorer will result in the inability to log in, order products and open links.

How long does it take to receive an order?
We process orders in the order that they are received. Orders enter production at 7 AM  (Central Time) during the week.  Those received after 7 AM will be entered into the following day's production schedule.  Every effort is made to complete internet orders within 3 - 5 working days. Wholesale orders are processed within 7 -10 working days. Production may be delayed based on season, the release of new stamp collections and internet promotions.   Please note that we have no control over delivery times once your package has left our factory. Wholesale orders will be notified within their order confirmation estimated production times.

May I place my order over the phone?
Unfortunately, we can now longer take phone orders. All transactions are paid through a third party credit card processing company. This provides additional credit card security to our customers and eliminates the possibility of credit card fraud.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal.  "Pending" PayPal orders will be canceled. Customers will be emailed confirming this cancellation along with a request to reorder with a valid source of funding.


Do you ship to P.O. Box addresses?
No, as UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

How much are your shipping costs?
WSD ships via  UPS standard ground service to Continental U.S. addresses to provide insurance and tracking to our customers.  We use UPS Quantum Notify which generates an email to you with your tracking number when you shipment leaves our factory.  We charge a flat rate of $7.95 to a single residential order. UPS does not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.  We provide FREE shipping to any residential order over $100 to Continental U.S. addresses.  Hawaii, Alaska and Canada shipment fee is $12.95 and are sent via U.S. Mail First Class.  Wisconsin residents are charged 5.1% sales tax. Shipping for Continental U.S. wholesale orders is a flat rate of 4% of the order total.

Do you ship internationally?
WSD ships to many countries, including Canada and most of Europe.  We reserve the right to reject orders from destinations that we have determined that we cannot serve.  These orders will be shipped via U.S. Mail First Class. There is a minimum charge of $14.95 for shipping, handling and paperwork preparation for international residential orders under $100.00.  WSD reserves the right to require additional payment for actual shipping charges substantially in excess of $14.95 prior to releasing any order for shipment.  Any applicable importation fees or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.  Please note that international delivery can be substantially slower than UPS, and, WSD will not consider a shipment lost unti 30 days have passed since the product had been delivered to the post office for shipment.  Please inquire as to international wholesale freight policies.

What is you policy for returning damaged/defective product?
We are happy to replace any damaged/defective product if reported within 5 days of receiving your order. Please contact us at (262) 938 – 6824 or email us at stamping@whippersnapperdesigns.com with your concern. We reserve the right to credit international orders with a credit due to high shipping costs. WSD products that have been purchased at your local store must be returned that location and credited based on their policies.

May we return unwanted product?
Each of our stamps is made to order to provide the highest quality product to our customers. Because each stamp is a special order, we do not accept returns. Catalogs/IdeaBooks/Closeouts/Accessories are final sales and may not be returned.

What are the sizes of your stamps?
The wood sizes of our stamps are indicated by the first letter found at the beginning of each stamp's item number.  The second letter is reference to the artist for business purposes.  To view a list of the wood sizes, click on Block Size/Price Chart. Please remember that stamp images will vary in size from the wood block.

Are you an Angel Company?
Unfortunately not. Our artists reserve all rights to all of their artwork. We respect our contracts with these artists as this is how they make their livings. Any reproduction for resale, profit or advertising is strictly prohibited and is a violation of U.S. copyright laws.

What is the best way of contacting your company?
There are many times during the day that we are busy fulfilling orders and are unable to answer phone calls. Your best means of communication is via email at stamping@whippersnapperdesigns.com 

We make every attempt to answer your emails within 24 hours of receiving them.

Do you have a retail store?
Creative Pals is our retail store located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The WSD collection is available along with the beautiful samples that you see on our website. Our talented staff/designers are always ready to assist you with your creative projects, and teach a wide variety of classes.

Why should I sign up for your emails?
Emails are our main means of communication with our customers. This is how each of our customers receives information on new releases and promotions. Sales will not be promoted directly on the website. We do not sell our mailing lists to any other companies!

How often do you have your Paper Crafting Contest?
A new contest is usually posted every three months.

How do you color your card samples?
WSD designers and artists use many mediums for coloring. Most use alcohol based markers in combination with colored pencils and chalks. Others work with watercolors. You can read our Tips & Techniques section for more detailed information.

How do I become a wholesaler of WSD stamps?
Just click on the wholesale link on the bottom of any of our web pages. Email us with a wholesale request and we will send you the required paperwork and our terms/conditions for becoming a WSD retailer.  A physical storefront is required to acquire a wholesale account.  Unfortunately, we do not wholesale to home-based and internet based businesses.

Do I have to place my wholesale order on-line?
We highly suggest that you place your order on-line. This provides us an accurate means of communication as to when we received your order, when production is started, estimated production time and shipping status. Placing your order on-line also eliminates errors due to lost faxes and typographical errors.
